Gathering Paddock
A new place to gather, connect, celebrate, and slow down together.
The Gathering Paddock will transform one of the farm’s open spaces into a flexible destination for family celebrations, group stays, retreats, and corporate gatherings.
Featuring a semi-covered gathering structure, long communal tables and benches, large umbrellas, a soccer field, lawn games, and relaxed outdoor areas, it will create a dedicated space for long lunches, team activities, workshops, welcome gatherings, milestone celebrations, recovery brunches, and easy afternoons together.
For corporate and retreat groups, the paddock will provide space to step away from the everyday, bringing teams together for meetings, workshops, wellness sessions, team-building activities and shared meals, all surrounded by nature.
Future plans include a dedicated gym and wellness centre, expanding Sherwood Farm’s offering for corporate retreats, wellness escapes, and group experiences.

The full-site hire sleeps up to 34 guests across The Pavilion and four cottages.
2. Is it really private?
Yes. Full-site hire means exclusive use of the estate accommodation and facilities. There are no shared spaces and no neighbours nearby.

4. Is it good for kids (and are there safety considerations)?
It is a favourite for families. Kids love the animals and wide open spaces. As with any rural property, children should be supervised around water and outdoor areas.
5. What is the cancellation policy?
You get 30-day free cancellation with a full refund of your $1,000 deposit. If flood or fire makes access unsafe, you can reschedule once within 12 months at no extra cost.
6. Where is Sherwood Farm and what’s nearby?
We are around 40 minutes from Coffs Harbour. There is easy access to local attractions for optional day trips. Most groups find there is plenty to do onsite without leaving.
7. Can we get early check-in or late checkout?
Early check-in and late checkout are subject to availability. Ask when you enquire and we will confirm what is possible.
